HELP!!I'm trying to downgrade Directx12 to Directx11 on Win10.The only way I've been able to even find the Directx11 download is through a Windows Vista.msu Service Pack. I figured I could just run it in compatibility mode, but no dice. You can only run.exe &.msi files in compatibility mode.Being the knucklehead that I am, I've already deleted the regeedit files for Directx12, (minus Default RegSZ).Without setting a system restore point. derp.Does anyone know how I can download the vista.msu for Directx11 on a windows 10 operating system?.
Or any other way to downgrade? Just like greens said, since you have dx12 you also have dx11, most games still only support dx11 so you should be fine. But for getting lower fps on Windows 10 could be something else.
Make sure all your driver's are up to date and your hardware at least meets the minimum requirements for your gamesSo there's no way to downgrade to dx11 so that I'm positive that I'm only using dx11 or earlier versions?. My GPU specifically states that it only supports up to 11.
All my drivers are up to date and my hardware is above minimum requirements.I have no use for dx12 on this system. Is it somehow possible to downgrade or no?
