Surprise, surprise!I have quitted waaaay back already, even before the servers were closed earlier in 2017, it seems that Granado Espada SEA shall be back in October 2017.Yes, you read that right. Granado Espada is indeed relaunching via Steam in October 2017.And that's after my whole family has been wiped out earlier this year. Everything was on sale for 1GP. For almost a month, everybody was powerful. But it looks like a lot of families are going to come back to the exquisite world of Granado Espada once again.According to this which was launched roughly around September 2017, the game is indeed relaunching via Steam. It will now be handled by IMC Games, the developers of the game, and not by IAH Games. IMC says it will be servicing English-speaking players in the Southeast Asian region. What do you think about this? Are you excited to get your family back together again?:).

It has been literally years since I last wrote in this blog. If I remember correctly, I was only an expert back then.Today, I write as a Master level 3.My name is Raven Futel.
I am the fighter of my family - and a sexy one, at that.Since Mom flew to Poland and back to the Philippines, she still went to Granado Espada so she can see how we're all doing. From various patches, new maps and new factions, perhaps Mom's love for her Granado babies has never faltered. However, she hasn't played with us like the way she did before. When she entered the world of Granado Espada once again, everything was new; the interface, the world - and believe me, she was definitely in awe. Was it still the world she came to love? This world full of Renaissance stuff? Of course, me and my siblings were there. From little Viki to the maestro Rio, we were there. My sister Christianne, our scout, and yours truly - we're both donning Dignite Costumes! And boy, are they HOT!I still remember that day when Mom sold every equipment we have because she was quitting. It was painful, alright, and even her other friends were sure that they would miss her.
But she left my favorite blunt and shield - it had too much sentimental value to let go. Our old family friend, oread, gave it to me.I remember the day when we turned Masters, as well. My brother Matthieu the Musketeer, and Maestro Vicente Rio was with me when we all turned Masters. It was a great feat, and it was a great achievement.
I know for a reason why Mommy never wanted to sell us, or to buy other characters to be in our family, because it is her pride that we have trained from Level 1 up to Masters all by ourselves. We have never bought characters before.Mom left us in the care of her friend, just before the Renaissance dawned upon the world. I was dressed in my best Dignite Costume, plus wings - I felt really stronger and more confident.
Trust me, even with an e92 blunt in my hand, I totally own other people. Oh, how I love that new stance that he gave me.Today, we traverse into a new world called the Renaissance. A lot of things have changed - from the way the City of Auch looks, to the way families talk to each other. When I last visited the world, I can't stop gushing on exquisite costumes and new features. Hey, we can now send mails to each other - even to offline families!:D and who can forget about those cool medals on top of families' heads? Either way, it is a nice change. Pretty bad for us, though, because since we have quitted, it's as if we are in a whole new world.Although we do not play as much as we used to, Mom promised herself to visit us at least once a week.
I guess she is enjoying exploring other maps which were never there. Hopefully, she'd have time to get new family members for us, as well. Teehee.I have to read on and explore more about this Renaissance. I bet there's still something wonderful out there somewhere.P.S.I have heard about Valeria, and how she'd be able to join my family. I think that would be pretty cool. Imagine having somebody as cute as Princess Gabriella, but without her brattiness. I would NEVER want somebody more bratty than I am.My siblings in the barracks would go crazy.xoxo,Raven Futel.
UPDATE: Please refer to this for more updates about freelance writing in the Philippines AND about Essays.PHSorry, people. It isn't the femme fatale Raven Futel writing now.I'm writing as Kristine.:)As most of you know, I was in Poland for the past year as an English teacher. (I guess most of my Grando Espada friends know that since I threw a goodbye party for them before I left;p) When I came back from Europe, I was in a complete reverse culture shock. (read: crying every day) And I knew that one thing that could make me at least move on with my PH life is to get a job.So I tried passing my resume to various companies and job websites.I'm a 2008 graduate of AB Communication Arts in UST, and I did get job offers; both in snail mail and email. However, it isn't in my mindset to work as a call center agent/marketing trainee/medical representative or whatever and however you want to call it.And then I thought and thought.
I scoured for freelance websites and job openings both in the PH and abroad.then I stumbled uponI told myself, ' Why not give it a try? You're just staying at home anyway.'
(And not to mention running out of savings from EU, LOL.)So I signed up on August 3, 2009. I was ecstatic that finally - woo. I could do something productive aside from chatting with my friends, Facebooking, playing online games and everything else. I got an email that day, as well, saying that I could sign up in the forums. So I did.Read everything, blah blah.OK, G-Cash, I'll be writer 2.blah blah.rewards, ooo, nice. Then I went on to see my and check what assignments were available.I still remember the first assignment I got while I was in the gray team: it was about registry cleaners. Being the techie girl that I am, I typed and typed and typed, but then my laziness crept in.Since I had to produce 5 different versions of each paragraph, on the third or fourth version, I actually dragged. Writer's block.
But I managed to finish it, anyway. The second assignment I got was about MIND POWER - and it was better. I watched 'The Secret' with my friends in PL and it was exactly about mind power, so I applied it. I finished 3 assignment sets from Mind Power in 2 days, I think. Not bad.I woke up on August 12 and checked theWoot. WOW POINTS:PI was excited to see 1140 points under the name 'krysia' (woohoo) and true enough, it was worth 1140 points. But I wanted more, of course.
Who doesn't?:pSo I logged in again, but pfft. I thought I had a bug. I was using Firefox and the images weren't showing up and I couldn't see the reply buttons and everything else @@ causing me to think that something was wrong because that morning, I was transferred to the red team. (I remember PMing Sir Neil asking about it.then I thought of switching to IE and damn it works.)Yup, after 6 days, I was in the red team.I wasn't on probation anymore, woohoo. I could get assignments alreadywhenever I want.:DI also remember getting three assignment sets about HDTVs, finishing a World of Warcraft (or MMORPG, in general) article in about less than 30 minutes, and writing other sets which I really love in less than 8 hours.(Oh yeah, cuz I'm also saving up for that quest with rewards: 10 Assignment Sets, less than 8 hours = 1000 points:D I need one more, woot.)As I type this on September 8, I cashed out a total of 6,000 PHP from. Don't ask me how many articles I've written because it was a lot - but I don't care.
It's something that I worked for, anyway. And it felt good. I have been earning my own money but somehow, it still makes you feel like you've accomplished something.
You feel fulfilled.Working for Essays.PH allows me to control my own time (well, except for deadlines) and my own money when I want and need it. If I don't like the assignment topics, then I don't get any. But if I do, well, I can take more than one in one day. Essays.ph made me realize my love for writing one more time, and it gives me the opportunity to further enhance and use my passion for the English language.I haven't been getting assignments for the past week (or maybe a week and a half) because I was also doing some work abroad which is really time-consuming.but I know I'd always come back to Essays.PH. (Oh sorry, I've just written an assignment yesterday, anyway:D)Like what the advice bot on top of the always tells me:We hope we can shape the true writer in you.And I guess they have already shaped me.:)Join me @Visit for more information, or you can take a look at our CyberOffice atP.S.The only 3 revisions that I got were:1.) I thought it was only 250 words - but it was 400.or 500?2.) Something was wrong with the zip file @@3.) I forgot to change the font, font size and put titlesP.P.S.Wait! Earn money while you're reading this.It doesn't take even 5 minutes of your daily internet surfing habits!:).
So, I guess we won't be playing too much in Granado Espada. I personally think we're getting old, too, although Gavin begs to disagree. (Yeah, still the hunk that he is.) The friends that we made in Bach aren't there anymore.sob. and there are too many imba players, and I know we can get killed by just a spacebar. We don't know yet if we are fully retired or we'll just be going in GE from time to time.Of course, as we lay back and enjoy our endless vacation outside of Granado Espada, we are also helping our little sister in Dragonica.Yup, yup. Her name is Krysiunia.but OK.
Call her Krysia for short. It's a Polish name. I guess Mom is now Polish by heart (OK, my sisters and brothers are laughing, hahaha)But anyway, Krysia is an archer. And currently the baby of the family. (Yes, I know.
It isn't Viki anymore who's our baby.but still cute as ever.) So there. Krysia has blue hair.yup, that's her on the picture above. We were earlier doing her own blog in the blogosphere, and it's nice to see how supportive the whole Futel family is.Granado Espada and Dragonica is both under IAHgames, anyway, so our worlds are pretty much near. Plus we have the same Mom who takes care of us together with her new kitten Bunia;pYou can check out Dragonica SEA by clicking on Krysia's picture, or by clicking this banner.:D. After hibernating for 8 months, the Futel family is back.Yes, we are back. Krizzie/Tin/Krz here - the one Raven refers to as Mommy. Anyway, I'm glad that you got the chance to drop by my babies' blog.
This is were we post all our Granado Espada thoughts and activities - a game that we have all learned to embrace and love. Keep an open mind as you read these blogs - as they are not my point-of-view, for I let my characters in GE speak for themselves. ^^ Please do take the time to visit some of my personal websites listed below.
I would really, really appreciate it if you can hear me sing. My Imeem playlist is embedded here - scroll down to hear me sing:) Thanks for dropping by and see you all in-game!!!:) AJA GIRL GAMERS!!!! and if you want to join me in my faction, just leave a message here!
I'd be happy to PM you in-game:).
What is Granado Espada?GE is an MMORPG that features some unique traits in gameplay, the main one being the ability to control up to 3 characters simultaneously (multi-character control, or MCC). Not only that, but there is also a large selection of classes to choose from in your team, allowing for endless possibilities in PvP or PvE. Another uncommon feature is the ability for automated combat: characters are able to fight weak monsters on their own, allowing the user to slowly progress in levels despite being away from the game. This will not be a replacement for active farming, raiding or questing, but it’s a good alternative to progress for those that can’t devote as much time playing. So what classes are there? What are stances?Initially, you can only create a team using 5 starting classes, while the over 150 additional characters become available as you progress in quests.
Stock characters tend to be the most flexible, being able to adapt to many different situations while recruited NPCs tend to be more specialized in particular weapons, stances or roles. Stances generally define your combat style and abilities.
Each class has their set of useable stances for different weapons, and each stance usually gives you access to 4-5 skills to use as well as a defined set of stats and attack animation. There can be several useable stances for the same weapon for some classes, so switching them around is generally useful depending on what you need. Each class is characterized by their stat distribution, their available stances and their personal/job skill.
Each class has its own personal skill, which is basically a skill that can be used from any of their stances. The 5 stock classes are as follows:Fighter – Your typical melee warrior. Stock fighters can use a wide array of different weapons and stances, allowing them to plan ahead for different situations. They can both tank and deal considerable damage to all armor types and their versatility allows them to fit into literally any team. Fighter weapons include swords, daggers, sabres, pistols, polearms, greatswords, rapiers, blunts, shields and javelins.Musketeer – A ranged damage dealer class that primarily relies on guns.
Musketeers are vulnerable up-close but make up for it with great single target damage from long range (as typical archers). They are excellent boss-killers and can quickly dispose of monsters with their strong attacks as well. Musketeer weapons include pistols, rifles and bayonets.Wizard – Wizards are the masters of utility. They have access to several AOE skills as well as many protective buffs for their allies and deadly debuffs for their enemies. They are a balanced class that is effective both offensively and defensively.
In later stages they are also able to fight airborne, staying out of harm of melee attackers, granting them unparalleled survival in some situations. Wizards can use either rods or staffs for their stances.Elementalist – Elementalists are the proverbial glass cannons of the game. They are able to deal amazing damage, especially to several enemies at once but are also very squishy and slow in some of their stances. Their stance selection gives them the choice of fire, ice or lightning spells which can be drastically effective against certain enemies depending on magic vulnerabilities. Elementalists use different attribute bracelets in their wrists for each magic type as weapons.Scout – Unlike the name suggests, Scouts are mostly useful as a healing support rather than as spike damage dealers.
They are able to keep their party alive via healing spells, and can cast several useful buffs for both offense and defense in their group. A must-have for any starting team, since they will both enable your team to afk-level (with autoheal) and can be incredibly useful as a back-up healer when engaging on several enemies at once. They can also revive fallen characters, which is important as you stop automatically spawning after level 51. Scout weapons mostly include daggers or rosarios (for high level support stances).
Which classes should I chose as a first team? Here are a few teams I consider optimal for a starting player. Other teams not listed here can work too, and you can always level new characters up to experiment, obviously, but these groups will give you the most versatility and effectiveness as far as early-game goes:Fighter Musketeer Scout – a good mix of single target damage and durability.
You may not level up as fast as some teams out there but this gives you a lot of tools to adjust to different zones, and most importantly boss fights in which this team shines at.Fighter Elementalist Scout – a balanced setup, and particularly useful for active leveling since you have good AOE ability and lots of versatility with stances and weapons.Fighter Wizard Scout - this team isn't as offensive as the previous one, but it is very safe and has a lot of tools in their disposal. It still levels up fairly fast but keep in mind that you will have relatively low dps outside skillsMusketeer Wizard Scout – an offensive-minded team that has very strong ranged presence, both single target and AOE. In this team, the wizard acts as a secondary support at keeping the musketeer alive (especially with Levitation), but if executed properly has one of the fastest leveling speeds out there, both actively and afk).Wizard Elementalist Scout – a full caster team. Squishy team but has incredible crowd control and mass damage potential. The only downfall is that casters are typically subpar for afk leveling, so despite being extremely strong for clearing dungeons and missions actively, don’t expect to progress much while away from the game with this team. So now I have my team – what should I do?Farming vs Questing: As a new player, it will be in your best interest to complete quests and exple new maps. Quests don’t reward you with a lot of experience in this game but they will give you useful items to purchase equipment and advance with the storyline, giving you access to new maps and instances, so it’s recommended for you to complete all Scenario quests as you receive them.
Remember to take repeatable quests from Pioneering merchants in most zones for extra EXP cards. Some quests will also reward you with NPC cards, which allows you to create different classes to play with later on.Equipment: You can get new equipment for your characters in several ways.
The most common way get gear is to collect shinny crystals from mob drops and trade them in for gear. This shiny crystal gear will level up with you all the way to level 100. You can increase the stats on you gear by 'enchanting' the items with 'Novice' Chips or using shinny Crystals to go to +6. How to make gold in game?Sell material drops to other players via the market manager. Copper, Coal, Cabbose, Cast Iron are quite valuable in crafting so you can make decent money selling them. Sell junk dropped gear you don't need to NPC merchants. When you get to higher levels you can join raids to earn more valuable drops.
Pick up all the shinny crystals you can as they are needed throughout the game.Play Mini Games? You can earn new character classes by playing mini game. You get 5 free mini-game passes per-day for chances to get a high score. High scoring players receive 100s of bonus tokens which can be used in the mini-game shop to purchase powerful characters such as JD, Beatrice, or Sierra. Power leveling Team:At first you will only have access to characters but you complete some quests you will receive character 'Cards' that will allow you to create additional classes. The best strategy is to used these cards to make new characters in your barracks and then start power leveling. The best power leveling team is Bernelli, Soho, Emelia. These characters will level much faster than stock characters due to there unique abilities.Bernelli is best early game AoE because her basic shotgun attack will hit multiple enemies at once.Soho is a Jack of all trades character that can buff, dps, and tank.Emelia is the best healer in the early game and is very important in questing.Level these characters up first and then use them to power level other characters later.
Alternatively Lisa can also fit in the power leveling team for the grinding debuff in place of either Soho or Emelia. Lisa is very useful toward the end game as well. Breaking into the End Game:After you have completed a good chunk of the questing it is time to start thinking about the end game. This is where a lot of players run into trouble and thinking that they have to pay money to progress. However, there are some simple tricks that will grant you easier access to the end game content.1. Buffer rings.
Several classes are in high demand for raids if you get their respective buffer rings. Even if you have the worst gear you will still get invited to raids. Examples:- Mia Karjalain + 2 magic Boost rings- Lorch + 2 Infiltration Rings- Bernelli + 2 Detection Rings- Vincent Rio + 1 Encore ring and 1 other stance ring- Scout or Emelia with 2 Enhanced Tactics rings (more expensive than other options)2. Upgrade to better gear.- Focus on armor first (Get Elite LaBlank with 3DR mod) not too expensive- If you have the money go for Elite LeNoir which has been getting pretty cheap lately- Buy stuff from other players that is already +7 with 3DR- Don't waste money on Elite 92 armor ( the value of Elite 96 is debatable)- Check the market manager often and look for deals3. Run easy daily solo missions- Joaquin Barrier defense- Joaquin Barrier siege- Rhapsody of the Undead- Bounty hunters missions (Portobello, Torsche, etc)4. Run easy group missions- Castilia Mine- Castilia Relic- Bristia Back Alley- Crow Forrest- Clock Tower (intermediate difficulty 24 man raid)5. Increase your family level by power leveling all the characters in your barracks.- Even if you don't plan to play these characters it is good to level them- You will get power bonuses for every level your family increases- It is not that hard to get a 40 or 50 level family by making lots of characters- Gehenna Bridge and Skelly dungeon are the best power leveling spots.
Some notes on basic game control. If you are in town you can't change stances or enter combat.
